A lot of people who have been injured through the fault of someone else are unable to afford a lawyer because typically it means that they’ve missed some time off of work or maybe they’re off of work permanently. And that’s why we here at Venardi Zurada, we do our cases on a contingency. And what it means is that when we take your case, it means that we believe in your case enough to where if we don’t win compensation for you, we don’t get paid at all. But if we are able to get money for you, then what we do is we get a percentage of the amount that you receive and we get our costs back. A lot of times clients are worried and they think like, oh, if I hire an attorney, then there’s less money for me. And a better way to think about that is you as a client without hiring an attorney get 100% of a pie, but that pie is going to be pretty small because the insurance companies and the defense firms are going to make sure that you’re not fairly compensated for your injuries. And so what we do as your attorneys is make sure that the compensation is fair, that it’s just, and that it reflects the value of what was taken away from you.
