Joseph Nykodym
Trial Attorney
While in college, he interned with federal office holders and the Berkeley Roundtable on The International Economy. After college, Joe worked with various local and federal office holders as a staff member and managing their election campaigns. Through his work in government and politics, he learned how to advocate for and to the “little guy” with persistence.
Joe attended the University of San Francisco School of Law, while still working for the U.S. House of Representatives. While in law school, Joe also clerked with the Santa Clara County Superior Court’s Civil Discovery Department, learning the ins and outs of civil practice, teaching him a judge’s perspective on the law.
In 1994, Joe graduated from law school, passed the bar exam, and worked with a major civil litigation law firm, representing individuals in personal injury, elder abuses, and consumer fraud cases, learning trial techniques from true masters of this craft. Joe moved to Moraga in 2003 and has practiced in the East Bay ever since, representing people and businesses in a variety of cases before state and federal courts and in administrative proceedings. Joe is active in the local and state bar associations and since 2016, he has specialized in helping people injured by others.
