Will I Have Multiple Attorneys or Paralegals on My Case?

Each case is staffed a little bit differently at Venardi Zurada depending on the type of case and what is required. There are certain things that will always happen in your case.

So, one is you’ll always have what we call a case manager assigned to your case. That case manager is responsible in the pre-litigation part of the case to basically go out and get all of the documents that we need in order to fully evaluate your case. That’d be the police reports, wage statements, medical records, witness statements, things like that. The case manager basically pulls all of that together. An attorney is always assigned to your case. If the case is in the pre-litigation phase, you’ll have a case manager and a lawyer. The case manager and the lawyer, during the pre-litigation phase, after they gather all the documentation, they basically put together a demand package to see if the other side will compensate you reasonably and fairly.

If they will compensate you reasonably and fairly, then your case is resolved with a case manager and an attorney, and we get you your check and take great care of you.

If we can’t get the other side to compensate you reasonably and fairly, then your case goes into litigation mode. And when it’s in litigation, it is assigned a dedicated paralegal and either one or two lawyers depending on your case. Sometimes you’ll have a paralegal and just one lawyer assigned to your case, and sometimes you will have two lawyers assigned to your case, depending typically on the severity of the case.
