While we are a dedicated, tight-knit team of seven lawyers, our presence in the San Francisco Bay Area is massive. For us, practicing law is only half the job; the other half is showing up for our neighbors, supporting local youth, and actively investing in the community we call home. Our team steps up year-round through hands-on volunteer work and major financial sponsorships. We host an annual food drive alongside 49ers All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner and act as a primary sponsor for the Northern California Special Olympics softball tournament, where our staff regularly gives up their weekends to cheer on the athletes. From distributing school supplies at our Oakland backpack giveaway to sponsoring mental health awareness days for local middle schoolers, we are committed to uplifting the next generation. We also proudly support the MeWater Foundation, an outdoor organization that takes underprivileged urban youth on life-changing camping and surfing trips to experience nature for the very first time.
Beyond grassroots volunteering, Venardi Zurada’s impact extends to a massive scale as official sponsors of the San Francisco 49ers. Our firm is the primary financial sponsor of the 49ers’ home game 50/50 raffle, an initiative that has raised an incredible $1.8 million. With half of those proceeds going directly to the San Francisco 49ers Foundation, our partnership implicitly fuels dozens of vital, community-based programs across the region.
