If it’s a personal injury case, then what you typically receive is your past medical expenses that were actually paid by an insurance company, your future medical expenses, any past wage loss that you suffered, future wage loss if you’re unable to return to the same type of work you did before.
You can also recover for loss of the value of your household services and also other smaller things. If you’re severely injured and you need an attendant or things like that, then you’re entitled to that form of compensation also.
And then what we call the human harm. That’s for the loss of enjoyment of life. How this wreck or how this injury completely changed your life from what you were before until what you can do after the injury.
