Well, in sexual abuse cases, we tend to do two things. We help the client pursue criminal justice, and as civil lawyers, we help the client obtain money justice.
What I mean by criminal justice is we help clients file police reports and report to the police the criminal sexual assault that has happened.
When it comes to civil justice, we file suit against the employer. The person who sexually assaulted our client went to jail. The employer, who was responsible for a safe working environment for our client, ended up paying money justice to our client when we proved in court that the conduct occurred and we were able to prove the impact of that conduct on our client.
