What Should I Do if I Believe I’ve Been Wrongfully Terminated?

The first thing that a person should do is, again, call us at Venardi Zurada. And the reason they should call us is so that we can give them advice and let them know whether or not they have a valid case.

Typically, our employment intakes are quite extensive. We’ll get details and some basic facts, ask the client for a chronology, and any relevant documents. Then, if it’s a case that we feel we can help the potential client with, it gets transferred to an attorney. Often, it would be me, and I would review the case and really dig into the facts.

I think it’s especially important to learn the facts upfront. If you learn the facts upfront, it becomes very quickly apparent whether it’s a case that we can take and help the person with versus a case that we might have to decline because there is no legal violation, or at least not one that we can prove.
